We did
get a couple of strange looks when people came to their rooms, finding us
playing cards (Spades) in the hall - the rooms were not big enough for a
table / 4 chairs |

This
was a very neat hotel, with it's own mini-brew pub. The staff was
very friendly - gave us a GREAT recommendation on a place to eat!

The
Huisache Grill was a GREAT recommendation - for our Friday night
meal. We really enjoyed this neat find and we will be back! They
also featured some neat, quiet, alternative type of live entertainment We
liked it so much Friday night, we went back Saturday night! |

Over
the past 10 years of going to New Braunfels, at least once a year, we have
never found this place - we have now!

|
|
We enjoyed the following
dishes: The Mixed Grill, Penne Pasta Grill (Chicken & Shrimp),
Sourdough Breaded Chicken Breast, Charbroiled Amberjack Veracruzana, Pecan
Crusted Pork Tenderloin, Broiled Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Shrimp and
Crawfish Bisque, great Salads, etc. |

Rich joined us after we
cleaned up Saturday for a visit to one of our favorites - the Gristmill,
in Gruene, TX. |
|
No TRIP
to New Braunfels / Gruene would be complete without a steak from the Gristmill!!! |

A GREAT
place with great people to help you find a good Texas Wine...
My opinion - stick
with the Reds!!! |
